A former speaker to PPGO in the 80's  . . . 
​A mentor and encouraging friend to many photographers from the state conventions, local chapter meetings and Heart of America Conventions:

Dave was a wild and a "perfectionist" - ""PERFECTIONIST""
 - with great respects and admiration to
someone my same age, who I never saw enough of, except at those Heart of America conventions over the years, mainly in the print crew area each everyother year or later every year.  
So rich was his life's experiences and friendships and not about the "things of life",
just in the hearts and souls of everyday people he shared with.

  • Many of you might remember him from his involvement with Heart of America and his home state of Missouri...we lost Dave just a few months ago.   His home state association has posted a remembrance, and maybe you can share your at this for attached.  Dave was too young to leave, and many of his Nebraska friends will miss him.  
  • Carry on Dave, for their are many fellow photographers of the past with you in heaven.

 These images were captured on July 10th 2016 at the meeting location of Greater Kansas City Photographers that day to share some images, and stories of his life and with his family and other working professional photographers and friends.
I knew not many attending, and most attendees were family and
​the "local group" and surrounding area.

I was the only Nebraska attendee that I could find.  
A day to be enjoyed, and an emotional sharing/crying of a lost image creator
​ an extraordinary man.  
Rest in peace and take lots of film/digital images to share when we all arrive someday.  
There are sure to many "MERIT" prints he will probably print himself in Dave's collection of his future in heaven, he knew how to do it!

Dixie Laval , highly qualified, award winning artist for retouching to many photographers - was the speaker in this video - Dave's other mom's as Dixie says it...
Some other facts about the passing of Dave, unknown at the time of his death in April or communicated from any association announcement in May 2016.  And he was only 66 years of age.
