I was part of this event in the capacity of "official photographer" of the day...that an $.10 got you ? and a lot of work.
Anyway, she did proceed to the National Miss America event, and placed in the Top Ten selection.
I even videotaped the broadcast TV event for the " I helped" feeling.
NO idea where she is today, yet this was in 1983...so gracefully add a few years and probably children and spouse?
Also I had an opportunity to also submit in my 4 State Convention (H.O.A.) that year in print competition, I scored in the high 70's, yet not enough for a print merit back in those days of 1983 and beyond. I think Kris was from the Fremont area, is where the event was in 1983

Professional Photography School in IOWA at a University of Northern Iowa. Fantastic Instructors, and many state acquaintances attended many years. This year was my assignment as past state president to attend and co-mentor/assist the assigned instructors needs.
SADLY this school closed doors (quite using the University for meeting and board/room/food and classroom space in mid 2000's, I think..not sure of date, more research, yet no longer available...internet !

Must have changed Mayors, never got one for Vice President or President, which I served as.
And I served a President for 3 times of PPGO. Got to find plaques somewhere for proof of doing for me.

Article my mother and I interviewed for the Midlands Business Journal in 1995, glad she highlighted our parts and sealed it!

Article I contributed to from Midlands Business Journal as then President of P.P.G.O. of the needs of Wedding Photography guidelines hiring a "professional" in January of 1987. Other photographers that contributed were Les Hassel of Bellevue and Gordon Deas of Omaha.
